About the position
The XL Enrichment Specialist is tasked with creating, promoting, and leading enrichment classes for high school-aged youth at Greenfield High School. The role focuses on delivering intentional programming that adheres to ProYouth curriculum guidelines and youth development principles, specifically in the context of a Crochet Club.
Responsibilities
- Create and promote weekly classes for high school-aged youth.
- Lead classes in subjects determined by the Site Director and program team.
- Ensure programming follows ProYouth curriculum guidelines.
- Implement youth development principles in class activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a High School diploma with AA/AS/48 completed College Units, or equivalent NCLB Paraprofessional Certification.
- One to two years of experience in a specialized skill.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with high school-aged youth.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching or leading youth programs.
- Knowledge of crochet or similar crafts.
