About the position
The XL Enrichment Specialist for the Crochet Club is tasked with creating, promoting, and leading crochet classes for high school-aged youth. This role is designed to enhance youth development through intentional programming that adheres to ProYouth curriculum guidelines. The position is part-time, requiring 1 to 2 hours per week over 2 to 3 days, and is based at Greenfield High School.
Responsibilities
- Create and promote crochet classes for high school-aged youth.
- Lead weekly crochet classes following ProYouth curriculum guidelines.
- Ensure programming is intentional and based on youth development principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a High School diploma with AA/AS/48 completed College Units, or equivalent NCLB Paraprofessional Certification.
- One to two years of experience in a specialized skill.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with high school-aged youth.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching or leading youth programs.
- Knowledge of crochet techniques and skills.
