About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Xpanse is a high-level leadership role focused on driving growth and maximizing profitability for the organization. This position is responsible for leading the growth strategy for mortgage and lending software solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. The CRO will play a key role in enhancing the company's market presence and ensuring the successful execution of business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for lending products.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mortgage brokers, lenders, real estate professionals, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, campaigns, promotional activities and collateral to support the growth and retention of clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technology; make recommendations to senior management on potential changes to enhance efficiencies and stay competitive.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
  • Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Influence executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
  • Lead briefings with senior leaders within the organization.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving business development goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network of contacts / companies within the mortgage industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Possess strong motivated, results-driven approach, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the mortgage industry.
