About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at Lucid Reality Labs, you will lead innovative XR development projects that align with strategic business objectives, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations. This role involves managing key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and identifying new opportunities for project expansion. You will also contribute to the technical growth of the team and promote a culture of continuous improvement in XR technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage XR projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Create project timelines, manage risks, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Track milestones and overall goals, making adjustments as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential risks to maintain project flow.
• Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining quality standards.
• Work with internal and external teams to define project scope and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing updates.
• Foster long-term partnerships with clients and offer post-delivery support and training.
• Continuously improve project processes and drive innovation within the XR space.
• Support the professional growth of team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience, preferably in XR, AR, VR, or game development.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles, particularly Agile or Scrum frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate distributed cross-functional teams.
• Strong experience in managing budgets and optimizing resources.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying challenges early and leveraging data insights to implement creative solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Deep enthusiasm for XR technologies.
