About the position
Y-Care After School is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Site Assistants and Site Directors for the upcoming school year. This program operates within the Jefferson City School District and Blair Oaks School District, providing a safe and engaging environment for children after school hours. The Site Assistants will work under the supervision of the Site Directors, assisting in the daily operations of the afterschool program, ensuring that children are engaged in fun and educational activities. The Site Directors, on the other hand, will be responsible for overseeing the program, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with state education guidelines. This role is crucial in fostering a positive atmosphere for children and supporting their development during afterschool hours. The working hours for both positions are from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing for a flexible schedule that does not require weekend work. Candidates must be at least 16 years old to apply. The Y-Care program is state-licensed, ensuring that we meet all necessary regulations and standards for afterschool care.
