The Yard Worker position at WillScot focuses on maintaining and preparing storage units and offices for rental. This role involves a variety of labor tasks, including cleaning, repairing, and ensuring that all units are in working condition. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and ensure all storage units and offices are in working condition and ready to be rented.
• Sweep and hose out storage units.
• Check A/C units if applicable.
• Replace tile or epoxy flooring.
• Repair drywall holes.
• Clean windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.
• Replace light bulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.
• Paint units as needed.
• Perform minor welding and electrical repairs.
• Document completed work and verify units for further repairs or readiness to rent.
• Ensure supplies are replenished and the yard is organized and free of debris and hazards.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload containers from trucks and trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years' experience with general labor and repairs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Driver's License.
• Welding experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electrical hand tools.
