About the position

The Yard Worker position at Aerotek involves evaluating and documenting damages on vehicles, gathering supplies, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, contributing to a close-knit team environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk the yard and take 10-15 pictures of each damaged car.
• Gather supplies in the morning and be at the station by 8:10 AM.
• Work out of a supply cart.
• Evaluate wrecked vehicles using a questionnaire on a mobile tablet.
• Scan vehicle stock numbers and VIN numbers, ensuring all information matches.
• Determine if the car can start, run, or drive.
• Jump vehicles and apply crash tape when needed.
• Put up window covers.
• Secure all items left in the vehicle in the trunk.
• Double-check all information for accuracy.

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and write
• Valid driver's license
• Steel toe boots
