About the position

The Yard Worker position at WillScot focuses on ensuring that storage units and offices are cleaned, repaired, and in working condition for rental. This role involves performing various labor tasks, including maintenance and repairs, to uphold the quality of the company's portable storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and ensure all storage units and offices are in working condition and ready to be rented.
• Perform repairs on units at customer sites, including sweeping, hosing out, and checking A/C if applicable.
• Replace tile or epoxy flooring, repair drywall holes, and clean windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.
• Replace light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, etc.
• Paint and perform minor welding and electrical repairs as needed.
• Document work completed and verify units for further repairs or readiness for rent.
• Ensure supplies are replenished and the yard is organized and free of debris and potential hazards.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload containers from trucks and trailers as required.

Requirements

• 0-2 years' experience with general labor and general repairs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Current Driver's License.
