About the position

As a Level 3 Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role within an IT consultancy, focusing on providing expert support and leading projects related to network security, particularly with Palo Alto or Fortinet technologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to critical projects, working with leading-edge technologies and gaining valuable experience in network security.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for network security infrastructure, focusing on Palo Alto or Fortinet technologies.
  • Lead firewall projects, including the creation of new policies, incident response, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement next-generation Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, along with Cisco ISE, while upgrading network security infrastructure.
  • Shadow senior engineers during the initial month to gain familiarity with technology and processes.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in Palo Alto or Fortinet L3 support and project implementation.
  • Stronger preference for Palo Alto skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Tufin and F5 APM technologies.
