About the position

YogaSix San Clemente is seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga practices and philosophies, with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to personal growth, and the ability to educate and inspire others on their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to studio a minimum of 15-30 minutes prior to class start time
• Create a personal connection with each student
• Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the Yoga Six standards and guidelines for each of the six core class types
• Set up classroom appropriately: Props, Mat Spacing, Music, Lighting
• Clean studio space once class has ended
• Build community and connection

Requirements

• Minimum 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• MUST be able to teach 6am classes
• Instruct various types of classes in a warm or hot practice room
• Willingness to continue to learn and grow in your teaching as well as your practice by remaining a dedicated student yourself
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of individuals
• A passion for health and wellness, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of yoga
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to substitute classes for fellow teachers when needed
