About the position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga principles and practices, with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants. As a Yoga Instructor, you will lead classes that promote physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional well-being, while tailoring sessions to meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for various skill levels, ensuring proper alignment and technique.
• Develop and implement class plans that incorporate various yoga styles and techniques.
• Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
• Foster a supportive community atmosphere by encouraging open communication and feedback from participants.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in yoga, health, and wellness to enhance class offerings.
• Collaborate with other fitness professionals to integrate yoga into broader health programs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before, during, and after classes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor with a valid certification from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and program design is highly desirable.
• Experience working in health clubs or gyms is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of yoga and wellness.
