About the position

The Video Editor will lead the YouTube channel and potentially all social media for David Abbasi, MD. This role focuses on transforming raw footage into engaging content that aligns with the brand's vision, with an emphasis on storytelling through video. The ideal candidate is a creative go-getter with a passion for video editing and a keen eye for detail, responsible for producing high-quality videos that resonate with the audience.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create compelling narratives, especially long-form content, and chop videos for shorts.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize various editing software and tools, including Adobe Premiere and Avid, to produce high-quality videos.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects into videos as needed.
• Manage video assets using content management systems and FTP for efficient workflow.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet established quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve editing skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Avid.
• Strong understanding of photo editing techniques and tools.
• Experience with motion graphics, typography, 2D animation, and 3D animation.
• Familiarity with content management systems and FTP protocols.
• Knowledge of photography principles is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
