About the position

The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) at Viking Pest Control is a pivotal role focused on driving sales and fostering customer relationships within the commercial services sector. This position requires a passionate sales professional who can effectively present technical pest control solutions and engage with diverse audiences. The CAM will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, providing exceptional customer care, and collaborating with internal teams to promote innovative SMART solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate sales within the established service area by prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Connect with potential customers through calls and visits, understanding their needs and guiding them through offerings.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively reach out to previous customers to explore new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Sales Administration team to prepare and finalize sales quotes and contracts.
  • Partner with Branch Managers and Technical teams to showcase innovative SMART solutions to potential clients.
  • Nurture relationships with current customers, identifying opportunities for upselling or enhancing services.
  • Adjust sales techniques based on customer feedback and market insights to optimize results.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the lead management system.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in business is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales or sales support role, preferably in pest management.
  • Familiarity with direct consumer sales and experience maintaining information in a CRM system; PestPac experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in using Windows-based computer systems and comfortable presenting information.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyze information effectively.
  • A commitment to learning and retaining a high level of pest control industry knowledge through training.
