The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking a Youth and Family Programs Manager to lead the planning, organization, and execution of public and community programs that cater to family and youth audiences. This role is integral to the agency's strategic and interpretive plans, focusing on creating engaging experiences that enhance annual programs and living history events. The manager will develop family activities that appeal to both young and intergenerational audiences, ensuring that these programs are innovative and educational. In collaboration with the Adult and Annual Programs Manager, the Community Engagement Manager, and the broader Learning and Community Engagement team, the Youth and Family Programs Manager will work to build a dynamic calendar of events aimed at increasing local visitation to the Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. This position requires cross-departmental coordination to ensure effective staff and volunteer support for various programs and events. Additionally, the manager will provide expertise and assistance to other divisions within Museum Operations & Education on special initiatives as assigned.
