About The Position

The Youth and Family Skills Trainer position at the Southeast Human Service Center involves working with youth aged 5-18 to develop essential life skills that promote independence and quality of life. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services, focusing on teaching skills in various environments such as homes, schools, and communities. The position requires a passion for teaching and empowering youth, with a strong emphasis on behavioral modification and support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, child development and family science, human services, or communication disorders.
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the above fields with two years of related work experience in a professional setting supervised by a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist youth in developing daily living and household skills.
