Responsibilities

  • Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills
  • Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness
  • Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting
  • Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities
  • Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master's degree in a mental health field
  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services
  • Enrolled in OR hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)
  • Hold an associate's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience
  • Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience
  • Fluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation
