Amergis Healthcare Services is actively seeking dedicated Youth Care Workers for a 10-week full-time contract in Chicago, Illinois. This position is crucial in providing support and care to youth in various settings, including Bronzeville, Rodgers Park, and Beverly. The role involves working closely with children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development during their time in care. Youth Care Workers will engage with the children in meaningful activities, provide emotional support, and help them navigate their daily challenges. The position requires a compassionate individual who can communicate effectively with both children and their families, fostering a positive environment for growth and learning. The Youth Care Worker will be responsible for monitoring the behavior and activities of the youth, implementing care plans, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to care. This role is vital in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of youth care and may be considered for internal positions at the conclusion of the assignment. All shifts are available, providing flexibility for candidates. The pay for this position is set at $23 per hour, and there is an opportunity for free CPI training for those who transition to internal roles. Requirements
