About the position

The Youth Development Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the operations and activities of multiple Adventure Club facilities, which are state-licensed before and after school programs. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, co-workers, and the public, ensuring high standards of program consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee the operations of multiple Adventure Club facilities.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements for childcare programs.
• Develop and implement program initiatives and activities for children.
• Supervise and train lower-level childcare personnel.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
• Monitor program quality and make improvements as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 3 units in administration or staff relations and/or 3 units in early childhood education, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of professional experience as a Child Care Site Coordinator, or four years of similar experience with a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license.
• First Aid and CPR Certifications within 6 months of hire.
