About the position

The Youth Group Home Facility Manager at Reach To Win Youth Home & Family Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) that provides support and living accommodations to youth in need. This role involves direct supervision of youth, training and guiding direct care staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. The Facility Manager plays a crucial role in applying appropriate standards for youth participation in activities and reporting to the Program Specialist for continuous quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Specialist in the day-to-day operations of the facility assigned.
• Apply the 'Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard' to decisions involving youth participation in activities.
• Train, support, and guide direct care staff to ensure appropriate care and supervision of youth.
• Directly supervise youth as assigned.
• Oversee the daily schedule of activities.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of Reach To Win Youth & Family Services.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Report to the Program Specialist and make recommendations for continuous quality improvements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Specialist.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in a Behavioral Science such as Psychology, Sociology, or similar.
• Two years of full-time experience working with youth, or equivalent education or experience as determined by CDSS.
• Two years of experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or STRTP.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves
