About the position

The Youth Intervention Program Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of the Louisville Urban League's Youth Intervention Program. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with a focus on creating a comprehensive program that meets regulatory requirements and community needs. The Project Manager will ensure timely deliverables and maintain compliance with reporting standards, while also engaging with stakeholders and managing financial aspects of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the Youth Intervention Program in line with the approved Youth Intervention Work Program.
  • Facilitate program activities, ensuring alignment with goals and community needs.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule.
  • Manage project expenditures within approved budget line items.
  • Submit accurate financial reports and documentation, including invoices and proof of payments.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records for five years post-payment.
  • Follow all Metro Youth Protection Policies and the Louisville Urban League policies and procedures for staff and volunteers working with individuals under 18.
  • Participate in weekly project review meetings.
  • Provide quarterly and annual performance reports, including progress on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), equitable outcomes data, and community engagement details.
  • Collaborate in data collection and evaluation projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable or court-involved youth.
  • Proven experience in project management and program facilitation.
  • Strong financial management skills and ability to manage budgets and submit accurate reports.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Community Health Worker (CHW) certification or experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with community health programs and youth interventions is preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
