About the position

As the Youth Pastor for 6th-8th grade at Gold Creek Community Church, you will lead the middle school ministry by creating engaging services, fostering spiritual growth, and building a supportive community for youth. This role requires an innovative leader passionate about evangelism, responsible for developing and executing strategies to build a dynamic youth ministry that reaches students who are far from God.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead impactful youth services that resonate with today's generation, fostering spiritual growth.
• Champion outreach initiatives to connect with unchurched youth, introducing them to the hope found in Jesus.
• Mentor and disciple young people, guiding them in their faith journey.
• Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to serve within the youth ministry.
• Cultivate strong relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations.
• Oversee the planning and execution of youth events, retreats, and missions that promote community and spiritual development.
• Manage ministry resources, ensuring alignment with the church's vision and objectives.

Requirements

• A strong relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for evangelism.
• Proven experience in youth ministry, demonstrating creativity and effectiveness in outreach and discipleship.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with youth, parents, and volunteers.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the initiative to develop new programs and outreach strategies.
• Theologically aligned with Gold Creek Community Church with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
• A bachelor's degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, or a related field is preferred.
