Requirements

• A passion for sports and knowledge of the game of soccer is preferred.
• Ability to lift 5/10/25 pounds regularly.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven team player willing to work long days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the Des Moines Menace youth programs including Junior Menace, Just for Girls tournaments, and summer camps.
• Managing registration platforms for youth programs.
• Leading marketing efforts for youth programs.
• Developing relationships with local youth clubs to support the growth of soccer.
• Assisting in the management of website and social media initiatives to promote youth programs.
• Organizing logistics for summer camps including staff scheduling, equipment management, and communications to participants.
• Working Menace home matches in May - August, including game day set up, servicing fans, and post-game tear down.
• Managing ball retrievers and Anthem Buddies during matches as needed.
• Assisting with pre-season events such as Open Cup, Just for Girls Spring Tournament, and spring Junior Menace as available.
• Maintaining confidentiality for sensitive club information.
• Completing other projects and duties as directed by the Menace Soccer Operations Manager.
