About the position

The Youth Program Coordinator at Assurance of Hope Institute, Inc. is responsible for managing the Behavioral Health Programs, ensuring alignment with the agency's mission and values. This role requires a compassionate and organized individual with a strong background in mental health services, who can effectively oversee the Youth program and support clients in achieving their recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Youth Program, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Oversee, plan, and coordinate AHI's Youth Summer, Winter & Spring Camps yearly.
• Revise work schedule based on the needs of the Youth Program.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Supervise and support a team of PSR staff and counselors.
• Conduct assessments and monitor client progress in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Facilitate training and professional development for staff.
• Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drive/transport clients (minimal).

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required).
• Previous experience in a mental health setting, preferably in a PSR program.
• State Certified Behavioral Health Technician (required).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with route scheduling and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of best practices in psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery-oriented care.
