About the position

The Youth Program Coordinator at OKCYC is responsible for overseeing a program that supports youth facing behavioral and emotional challenges. This role involves managing program operations, implementing trauma-informed care strategies, and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations while fostering a safe and supportive environment for youth development.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the residential program.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in trauma-informed care, behavioral health interventions, and youth development strategies.
• Build strong, positive relationships with youth residents, serving as an advocate for their needs and well-being.
• Foster a structured environment that prioritizes safety, personal growth, and positive interactions for youth.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to address behavioral issues, providing guidance on intervention techniques.
• Train and support staff in behavioral intervention techniques to de-escalate situations and promote positive behavioral outcomes.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and values.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment that encourages staff to develop their skills and maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, including health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective service delivery.
• Prepare and submit required reports, including incident reports, performance metrics, and program evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the physical and emotional safety of all youth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Proven ability in relationship management and administrative tasks
