About the position

The Youth Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for the Youth Programs across the Carnival fleet. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of products, as well as assisting with administrative tasks and event planning.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase all products and services for Youth Programs and special projects, including daily operations and special events.
  • Coordinate logistics and track shipments of all items purchased for Youth Programs.
  • Communicate with shipboard Youth Directors regarding supply needs and future purchases.
  • Track distribution of large expenditures for special projects and manage incoming invoices.
  • Investigate and present cost-saving opportunities for Youth Program supplies.
  • Serve as liaison for current and new vendors, processing vendor-related documents.
  • Coordinate and synthesize data collections across the fleet for various projects.
  • Plan and oversee details of special shipboard and shoreside youth and family events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associate's Degree in Recreation, Education, or Business required.
  • 2+ years working in a business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative communication style.
  • Creative thinker and solutions-oriented, with a high level of initiative.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (OneDrive, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Oracle.
