About the position

The Youth Rapid Rehousing Advocate at SAFE Alliance is responsible for providing trauma-informed service coordination to young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing housing instability. This role involves managing a caseload of 15 households, conducting outreach, intakes, referrals, and developing service plans to support clients in scattered-site housing. The advocate plays a crucial role in helping clients navigate their housing needs while ensuring they receive comprehensive support services.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a caseload of 15 households aged 18-24 for up to 36+ months.
  • Complete outreach, intakes, referrals, and service plans for clients.
  • Provide client-driven, trauma-informed service coordination services.
  • Assist clients living in scattered-site housing throughout the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
  • Experience providing direct service advocacy or case management services required.
  • Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse required.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and safety planning required.
  • Valid State of Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record required.
