About the position
The Youth Soccer Coach at Soccer Shots Greater Charlotte is responsible for introducing soccer to children aged 2-8 in a fun and engaging manner. This part-time role involves leading classes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for young participants, and committing to multiple coaching seasons. Coaches will receive paid training and have the flexibility to choose their schedules while working in various locations such as day care centers and parks.
Responsibilities
- Lead 6-12 kids for 25-45 minute classes
- Arrive to classes on time, prepared and ready to coach
- Record attendance after each session
- Commit to coaching multiple seasons
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Driver's License
- 1 year of experience with youth ages 2-8 (coach, teacher, babysitter, nanny, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Energetic, reliable, and organized
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of soccer (not essential)
- Experience in coaching or teaching
