About The Position

The Youth Sports Leader at Hamilton Y is responsible for managing youth sports activities, including games, practices, and events, primarily on Saturdays. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sports and community engagement, providing an opportunity to make a positive impact while developing personally and professionally.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Basic knowledge of sports programs

Responsibilities

• Represent the Y in various sports programs with a focus on quality and detail
• Communicate effectively with sports program staff, participants, and volunteers to ensure accurate game records
• Maintain program supplies and equipment
• Prepare fields/surfaces for play
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned
