About the position
The Z JV Soccer Boys position at Merritt Island High School is a community coaching role focused on guiding and developing junior varsity soccer players. The coach will be responsible for fostering teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship among the players during the soccer season.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training sessions for junior varsity soccer players.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games.
Requirements
- Must have a passion for coaching and working with youth.
- Ability to communicate effectively with players and parents.
- Basic knowledge of soccer rules and strategies.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous coaching experience in soccer or other sports.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
