About the position

The General Manager at Zaxby's is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of managers and employees. Responsibilities

• Enhance guest experiences by exceeding expectations
• Increase sales and profit through community relationships and outstanding service
• Post effective work schedules weekly
• Conduct interviews and hire top performers
• Manage staffing and new hire orientations
• Ensure compliance with training and certification processes
• Provide development plans and performance reviews for management staff
• Assist District Manager in executing local marketing plans
• Mentor Assistant Managers for future advancement
• Oversee FOH and BOH operations in compliance with standards
• Control costs through proper ordering, receiving, and inventory management
• Generate excitement and enthusiasm towards company objectives
• Maintain flexibility to exceed job parameters

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2-4 years of restaurant management experience
• Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds overhead
• Effective audio-visual discernment for communication and observation
