About the position

The Zaxby's General Manager is responsible for providing exceptional leadership and motivation to ensure that all team members are focused on guest satisfaction, teamwork, and quality service. This role is pivotal in embodying Zaxby's mission of creating enriching experiences for customers. The General Manager will oversee restaurant operations, manage staff, develop team members, and maintain a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Managing 30-35 crew members
• Preparing employee schedules
• Ensuring labor and drive time goals are met and maintained
• Conducting inventory counts daily/weekly
• Training and developing new and existing team members
• Communicating with the District Manager to develop and implement new policies and procedures
• Working with raw poultry
• Setting a positive atmosphere and creating a culture of participation and development
• Ensuring daily execution of Zaxby's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a quick service or fast-casual dining environment
• Open availability to work 45+ hours a week, including nights and weekends
• Experience with inventory purchasing and counting
• Ability to create schedules and use a POS system
• Understanding of KPI metrics
• Experience in staff recruitment and training
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent
• Valid Class C driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
