About the position

Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Zero Trust Project Coordinator with an active TS/SCI security clearance to support KMS and our government customer at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. This position is primarily a hybrid role, requiring four days onsite and one day remote work. The Zero Trust Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading large projects or significant segments of large complex projects, analyzing new and complex project-related problems, and creating innovative solutions that involve finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. The coordinator will serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects, taking them from concept through final implementation. The role requires interfacing with all areas affected by the project, including end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors. The coordinator will assist in generating acquisition documentation required for submission to the government contracting office and will review requirements to define project scope and objectives. Additionally, the coordinator will develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conduct project meetings, and ensure adherence to quality standards while reviewing project deliverables. The position also involves managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables, providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team, and recommending actions to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Responsibilities

  • Leads large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.
  • Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
  • Responsible for coordinating aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
  • Takes projects from concept through final implementation.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
  • Assists in generating acquisition documentation required for submittal to government contracting office.
  • Reviews requirements to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance/recommendations to the project team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Requirements

  • BS / BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Program Management, or other related disciplines; Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
  • Must be a US Citizen, hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience and direct supervision of technical project management, project integration or telecommunications management.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent experience in applicable Office product (Office 365 and 2019).
  • Demonstrated experience with Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing projects in JIRA.
  • Knowledge of government acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Nice-to-haves

  • CAPM or PMP certification.
