About the position

The Zone Integration Network Engineering Manager (ZINE Manager) at Siemens is responsible for leading a team of network integration engineers and specialists to support sales and operations in the Smart Infrastructure portfolio. This role involves overseeing project engineering, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and mentoring team members to foster professional growth. The ZINE Manager will coordinate resources for project development, implement engineering standards, and drive quality improvements across the zone.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance of the Zone Integration Network Engineering team.
• Manage engineering of all project work, ensuring adherence to job specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate resource needs for sales support and project development as part of the Zone management team.
• Provide direct mentorship and development opportunities for employees within the ZINE organization.
• Promote and implement engineering-related productivity tools and training.
• Review customer feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain an effective engineering and deployment organization committed to customer and employee satisfaction.
• Manage hiring, training, development, allocation, and performance assessment of personnel.
• Drive standards and increase quality while leveraging resources throughout the Zone.
• Adapt quickly to understanding new products and their implementation.
• Staff to handle forecasted volume for the zone.
• Implement zone engineering standards to achieve consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 - 7 years of proven operations supervisory/management experience.
• Strong listening, negotiation, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25%.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
