About the position
The Zone Sales Manager at Champion Builder, Inc. is responsible for selling manufactured housing products to wholesalers and developers on a commission basis. This role involves building relationships with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring timely delivery and payment collection. The position emphasizes customer service and effective leadership within the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Contact retailers and arrange to provide them with products.
- Call on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders.
- Demonstrate products and point out salable features.
- Answer questions concerning products such as price, credit terms, and durability.
- Complete sales contracts or forms to record required sales information.
- Assist in the process of shipment/delivery of homes and collection of payment in a timely manner.
- Promote products at trade shows and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Sales experience desired.
- Manufactured housing industry experience preferred.
