About The Position

This role is for a Sales Executive focused on Security Events within a leading global trade show and event organizer. The Sales Executive will be part of a team managing the ISC portfolio of shows, which is a significant event in the security industry, recognized as the largest physical and cyber security event in North America. The position involves prospecting for new business and nurturing existing accounts within a designated territory. Responsibilities include selling booth space, promotional opportunities, and digital products to help clients enhance their brand presence and achieve their show objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced B2B salesperson who can manage a diverse client base, employ a consultative sales approach, and build strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Prior B2B sales experience.
  • Enjoy cold calling and prospecting for new business.
  • Ability to grow existing customers' spend through sponsorship opportunities and booth upgrades.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and present in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate a value-based selling approach that delivers solutions for clients.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize sales data systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Salesforce, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Working with Sales Management to develop individual selling strategy.
  • Generating prospects, pipeline and attainment of sales target for booth and media sales.
  • Adhering to all selling process best practices and standards, including accurate data input, territory management, daily output goals, and weekly strike rates.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, climate, players, distribution, and issues to make recommendations regarding sales strategy on specific events.
  • Selling at competing shows and preparing show analysis and reports.
  • Managing and broadening Exhibitor Prospect Lists and generating targeted lists to increase sales probability.
  • Forecasting revenue projections.
  • Obtaining signed contracts and ensuring timely and full payment for all space reservations.
