About The Position

Volkswagen of Lewisville is seeking motivated and customer-focused Service Advisors to join their growing Service Center. The Service Advisor is the main point of contact for customers, responsible for understanding their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs, explaining service options, and providing cost estimates before coordinating with technicians. This role is crucial in representing the Service Department.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability to meet business needs
  • Sales experience with automotive industry knowledge
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate software systems
  • Ability to complete onboarding in a timely manner
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (up to 5 hours)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successfully complete all pre-employment screening processes

Responsibilities

  • Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repairs, including costs and service options
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records, invoices, payments, and warranty verification
  • Promote additional services and products to support service department revenue goals
  • Schedule service appointments and prepare detailed repair orders with technicians
  • Verify insurance information and coordinate loaner vehicles as needed
  • Provide timely service updates and communication throughout the repair process
