As a UGC (User-Generated Content) Creator for Teal, you will be creating and sharing engaging video content about your job search experience using Teal on your own social media platforms. You don’t need a large following—just a knack for storytelling, comfort in front of the camera, and an active presence on your preferred social channels.

Note that this is a part time 1099 Freelance position

Responsibilities

  • Post videos showcasing your experience with Teal as a job seeker, sharing genuine insights, tips, and outcomes.
  • Use Teal’s features creatively to highlight your personal job search journey, showing viewers how Teal can benefit them.
  • Earn referral bonuses by promoting a unique link, encouraging others to sign up for Teal.
  • Receive feedback on your content and collaborate with our team on best practices for maximizing engagement and reach.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in Front of the Camera: You enjoy creating video content and are confident sharing your journey.
  • Active Social Media User: You regularly post and engage on your platform(s) of choice and share videos publicly. (Private accounts will not be considered)
  • Creativity & Storytelling Skills: Able to convey personal experiences in a relatable, engaging way that resonates with others.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Genuine Enthusiasm for Teal: Current Teal users preferred, but all are welcome to apply if you’re interested in the job search space.
  • UGC Experience: Being a UGC creator is not a requirement but preference will be given to those who have experience

Exploratory Interview

  • Goal: High-level qualifications & discussion of project and goals
  • 30-minute Zoom with Mike Peditto, Director of Talent
  • We make sure to preserve time for your questions.

Paid Sample Video

  • We will give you a Teal+ account and ask you to create a UGC Video
  • You will be paid for this video whether or not you are hired as a creator
