Backend Engineer

Insurify, a rapidly growing MIT FinTech startup, is seeking a talented individual to join their newly opened Bulgarian research and development center. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence, to revolutionize the insurance industry. Your role will involve collaborating with the product team to develop and optimize features, with a focus on scalability, speed, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in building backend services and a willingness to learn Python. • Work with the product team to architect and develop new features
• Optimize existing features using modern development techniques to improve speed and reliability
• Deploy to production often
• Have 2+ years of experience building scalable backend services in Python or other general-purpose programming languages
• Willingness to learn Python
• Experience with SQL Databases

• 2+ years of experience building scalable backend services in Python or other general purpose programming language (e.g. Java, Go, Ruby, Node) and willingness to learn Python
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Ability to work with product team to architect and develop new features
• Ability to optimize existing features using modern development techniques to improve speed and reliability
• Willingness to deploy to production often
