About the position
Retool is seeking a seasoned leader to steer and expand their Technical Account Manager (TAM) team. The TAMs are responsible for nurturing, expanding, and sustaining the customer base by integrating developer tools, identifying novel use-cases, and enhancing offerings. As the TAM Team Manager, you will collaborate directly with customers and cross-functionally with various teams to address technical needs and challenges. The role involves overseeing and developing the TAM team, establishing performance standards, building long-term relationships, and implementing a staffing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the TAM team, establishing explicit performance standards and pertinent metrics.
- Build out playbooks and methodologies to establish long term relationships in our key accounts, drive adoption, and mitigate risk.
- Build out a staffing strategy and capacity model to ensure that we have optimal resources to support our customer base.
- Collaborate directly with customers to ensure their technical needs and challenges are addressed.
- Network cross-functionally with Sales Managers, Sales Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers.
- Nurture, expand, and sustain our customer base.
- Help clients integrate our developer tools, recognize novel use-cases, and enhance our offerings.
- Orchestrate customer training and troubleshoot key tools.
- Combine technical proficiency with an unwavering curiosity.
