About the position

As the OEM Sales Senior Director at Piaggio Fast Forward Inc., you will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy for two product groups: PFF Rider Assistance Solutions and PFF follow module and PFF kilo solutions. With a background in building sales from the ground up, you will initially operate as an individual contributor, creating an opportunity pipeline and executing a sales plan. Once successful, your role will involve expanding your team to support sales growth. Your responsibilities will include identifying target markets, defining sales material and events, prioritizing sales channels, generating sales forecasts, and creating annual sales strategies. Ultimately, your goal will be to drive growth and expand the reach of the company's technology products.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and defining target markets and customers
  • Defining and fine-tuning sales material
  • Defining sales events and marketing mix
  • Prioritizing sales channels
  • Timely generation of the sales forecast
  • Creation of annual sales strategies, designed to meet the annual corporate operating plan
  • Ensuring continued growth
  • Within 12 months, expand the team with sales professionals to implement and execute defined strategies
  • Drive GTM plans to improve market reach for OEM vehicle radar modules and robotic navigation sensor and compute modules, enhance coverage, and optimize resources to achieve quarterly targets and 5-year strategic plan
  • Design and implement sales objectives and best-in-class strategies (including sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes) in alignment with overall corporate planning cycles and objectives
  • Leverage the company's CRM (HubSpot) for new and existing leads, best practices for account management, opportunity management, sales reports, contracts
  • Rollout programs and templates to simplify capture of market data and optimization of sales resource time
  • Build, refine, and implement targeting approach to drive new customer acquisition in growth market segments while maintaining current customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key, high-profile customers and partners at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Manage activities of OEM

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Background in building sales from the ground up
  • Hands-on individual contributor role
  • Ability to build an opportunity pipeline into a sales funnel
  • Execution of a sales plan based on a 30/60/90/120 day plan
  • Experience in adding members to a sales team
  • Experience in creating and executing sales strategies
  • Familiarity with PFF Rider Assistance Solutions and PFF follow module and PFF kilo solutions
  • Strong team player and good communicator
  • Ability to operate with a high level of independence in a start-up environment
  • Experience in launching and introducing new technologies and solutions
  • Ability to identify and define target markets and customers
  • Proficiency in defining and fine-tuning sales material
  • Knowledge of sales events and marketing mix
  • Ability to prioritize sales channels
  • Timely generation of sales forecasts
  • Creation of annual sales strategies
  • Focus on ensuring continued growth
