About the position
The job overview for this role is that Airbase is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with experience in finance, accounting, procurement, or the fintech space. The role involves owning the go-to-market launch process for new products and key components of the Airbase platform, working closely with cross-functional teams, and developing a deep understanding of the product to provide messaging and support sales and marketing programs. The ideal candidate will also be the voice of the customer, synthesize a compelling message, and research the market to support product planning.
Responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market launch process for new products and key components of the Airbase platform
- Provide strategy, messaging, and coordinate structured launches to drive adoption and sales success
- Ensure alignment with cross-functional teams from Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.
- Work closely with Product Managers on all aspects of product launch
- Develop a deep understanding of the Airbase product and features
- Act as the subject matter expert on key product areas
- Provide messaging, value propositions, benefits, and material to support sales and marketing programs
- Work closely with Sales and Sales Enablement to enable post-sales teams
- Provide messaging, collateral, competitive intelligence, and support across the sales cycle
- Understand the challenges faced by finance, accounting, and procurement teams
- Synthesize a compelling message that resonates with customers, prospects, and stakeholders
- Research and understand the market
- Share competitive intelligence
- Bring market insights to support product planning
Requirements
- Experience in finance, accounting, procurement, or in the fintech space
- Strong understanding of product launch processes and strategies
- Ability to coordinate structured launches that drive adoption and sales success
- Knowledge of key product areas and ability to provide messaging, value propositions, and benefits
- Experience working with cross-functional teams from Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Ability to enable post-sales teams and provide them with messaging, collateral, and competitive intelligence
- Deep understanding of the challenges faced by finance, accounting, and procurement teams
- Ability to synthesize a compelling message that resonates with customers, prospects, and stakeholders
- Research skills to understand the market and provide market insights for product planning
