Engineering Knowledge Management has an opening for an Engineering Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will support the execution of communications, engagement activities, and content management across the Engineering & Technology organization. You will partner closely with Engagement Leads and senior leaders to deliver clear, consistent, and timely communications, support leadership engagement events, and maintain key communication channels such as SharePoint and newsletters. This role is highly collaborative and execution-focused, ensuring that messaging and engagement activities are effectively delivered and aligned to organizational priorities. In addition, you will support change management activities for engineering initiatives by helping develop and execute communication, training, and engagement plans—and may lead smaller-scale change efforts with guidance.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience drafting and editing internal communications for a professional audience
  • Foundational understanding of change management principles and how people adapt to change
  • Familiarity with collaboration and content tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 tools
  • Experience supporting presentations (PowerPoint) and formatting executive materials

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and distribute communications using tools such as Poppulo
  • Support logistics and communications for leadership engagements, including Town Halls, Leader Corners, Leader Forums, and large meetings
  • Coordinate webinar requests and meeting communications (invites, reminders, follow-ups)
  • Assist in formatting and preparing PowerPoint presentation materials for leadership events
  • Maintain and update the Mission Systems E&T SharePoint site
  • Manage and publish content on internal platforms, including RTX Connections
  • Own the development and distribution of strategic newsletters aligned to leadership priorities
  • Support planning and execution of video communications
  • Support change management activities for engineering tools, processes, and initiatives
  • Assist in developing and executing change plans, including communications, stakeholder engagement, and training support
  • Track feedback, risks, and resistance themes and escalate as appropriate
  • Contribute to the development of communication and training materials to support adoption
  • Lead smaller-scale change or communication efforts with guidance from senior team members
