Senior IT Specialist

Humane is seeking an Sr IT Specialist to provide direct IT support to team members and assist with ongoing projects like office build outs, asset management, and onboarding and offboarding flows. The role involves troubleshooting IT issues, setting up new office spaces, managing user accounts, supporting network and AV systems, overseeing equipment procurement and inventory, and maintaining internal company tooling. Essential qualifications include 5+ years of startup IT support experience, deep understanding of macOS and iOS, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Preferred skills include previous administration of Google Workspace, Slack, or Office 365, knowledge of MDM and device management software, and hands-on experience with office build outs and moves. • Provide frontline IT support to employees including troubleshooting, SaaS application changes, and equipment setup
• Partner with the Facilities Team to set up new office spaces, including computer, AV, and networking equipment
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of user accounts
• Provide support for network and AV systems for day-to-day use as well as for company meetings and events
• Oversee procurement and inventory of company equipment (laptops, mobile phones, AV equipment)
• Write, develop and maintain internal company tooling
• Configure, deploy and maintain company hardware

• 5+ years of startup IT support experience
• Deep understanding of macOS and iOS
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Previous administration of Google Workspace, Slack, or Office 365 (preferred)
• Knowledge of MDM and device management software (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with office build outs and moves (preferred)
• Knowledge of video conferencing software (Meets, Zoom, etc.) (preferred)
• Comfortable using command line tooling
• Scripting in Python, Javascript, Bash, App Script, etc.
• Strong collaboration & communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and have a passion for attention to detail
