About The Position

RainScapes is seeking an experienced Irrigation Sales Project Manager to generate new business, build client relationships, and oversee irrigation projects from initial consultation through final completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting with customers, developing solutions, preparing proposals, closing projects, and ensuring successful execution in the field. You'll serve as the primary point of contact throughout the entire customer journey—from identifying opportunities and winning business to coordinating crews and delivering a completed project. Requirements

  • Experience in sales, project management, construction management, irrigation, landscaping, or related industries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Irrigation, landscaping, drainage, outdoor lighting, construction, or home services experience
  • Experience creating estimates, proposals, and contracts
  • Experience coordinating crews and managing project schedules
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and project management software

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new residential and commercial irrigation opportunities
  • Meet with homeowners, property managers, contractors, HOAs, and commercial clients
  • Conduct site visits and evaluate customer irrigation needs
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, presentations, and contracts
  • Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and referral partners
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Oversee irrigation installations, upgrades, renovations, and related projects from sale through completion
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and material requirements
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and equipment
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Resolve project challenges and maintain customer communication throughout the process
  • Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Track project costs and maintain profitability
  • Manage project documentation, contracts, and job files
  • Process change orders and communicate scope adjustments
  • Provide project updates to management and operations teams
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
