Prerequisites
A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent) with at least four years (6,000 hours) of project management experience and seven years (10,500 hours) of program management experience.
A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent) with at least four years (6,000 hours) of project management experience and four years (6,000 hours) of program management experience.
Proof of professional experience must be submitted on the application and will be verified through reference checks.
Passing the Program Management Professional (PgMP) examination, which assesses the candidate’s knowledge and competency in managing multiple, related projects and navigating complex activities that span functions, organizations, regions or cultures.
Agreement to adhere to the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
Maintenance of certification requires earning 60 professional development units (PDUs) in a three-year cycle.
