People in crisis are connected to a Crisis Counselor by texting 741741.
Mission
Crisis Text Line's core mission is centered around providing immediate support and assistance to individuals experiencing emotional distress or crisis through a confidential text-based platform. Their primary goal is to create a safe space for people in need, offering empathetic and compassionate guidance while connecting them with essential resources. By leveraging innovative technology and a dedicated team of trained volunteers, Crisis Text Line strives to make a meaningful impact on mental health and well-being, ultimately saving lives and fostering resilience in communities across the globe.
