Product Analytics Lead

We are seeking a Product Analytics Lead who will play a crucial role in our product led growth strategy at SurveyMonkey. This individual will be responsible for utilizing data to identify patterns in user behavior, creating models for product experiments and analyses, and optimizing virality models. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build out our data pipeline and uncover insights that enhance our understanding of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, experience with data querying and scripting languages, and familiarity with tools such as Amplitude and Tableau.

• Use SurveyMonkey's data to create statistical inference and/or modeling techniques to identify key patterns in user behavior for product and business recommendations
• Create models to design product led growth (PLG) experiments or analyses to evaluate the success of new features and products
• Build and optimize virality models for PLG experiments
• Work with BI and Data Engineering teams to build data pipeline and feedback loops
• Own data models, dashboards, and other data artifacts and keep them up-to-date
• Uncover insights to better understand customers
• Build collaborative relationships and processes with cross-functional teams such as BI, Business Systems, Data Engineering, Finance, etc.
• Have 6+ years of work experience in data analytics/science or relevant fields
• Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R)
• Experience with tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.
• Experience in building predictive models
• Comfortable in transforming raw data to build new data sets
• Familiarity with optimizing product funnels, running experiments, and building dashboards to share meaningful results and outcomes
• Have a bias for using the right tools to get the job done efficiently
• Have worked in a fast-growing start-up
• Have experience in a PLG environment (bonus if you've built virality models)
• Strong communicator, verbally and written, with the ability to break down complex concepts.
