QA Analyst

The QA Analyst role at Ivalua in Pune, India, is a crucial position within the maintenance team. The role involves supporting Project Managers, Configurators, and Software developers in managing business process and acceptance testing for projects. The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that new and upgraded systems meet defined business expectations and quality standards. This includes reviewing specifications, developing test cases, executing manual or automated tests, and reporting test results. The role requires a proactive approach to testing assurance and collaboration with project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Support Project Managers, Configurators, and Software developers in managing business process and acceptance testing of projects
• Ensure new and upgraded systems are fit for purpose and meet defined business expectations and quality standards
• Monitor ongoing projects and work with project managers to ensure test plans, test scripts, and other testing-related documents are agreed upon
• Participate in parametrization corrections to improve project quality deliveries
• Review functional and design specifications to fully understand individual deliverables
• Perform backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment, including validating stored procs, jobs, and triggers
• Identify test requirements from specifications and design test coverage plan
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results

• Strong understanding of business processes and acceptance testing
• Ability to ensure that new and upgraded systems meet defined business expectations and quality standards
