About the position

Buildout, a leader in commercial real estate marketing automation, is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to improve operational infrastructure and drive efficiency for their revenue teams. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, the analyst will partner with sales leaders to define and implement systems, processes, and analytics to support sales productivity and success. Responsibilities include managing the deal management process, data and analytics management, system management, and compensation and territory management. The ideal candidate has experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations, proficiency in SalesTech systems, and a passion for improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end deal management process, including documenting and training sales resources on the process - Partner with sales leaders to define stage entry/exit criteria - Power and manage the deal desk process by defining booking criteria, managing price list, quote and contract template changes, and reviewing submitted deals - Define information that needs to be captured and transmitted as part of deal management and customer success - Champion data cleanliness and accuracy through periodic review of sales data and merging/purging duplicate records - Define and implement reporting needs to track performance, surface issues, and identify trends - Own and manage monthly reporting/business updates - Own the tech stack supporting Sales and Customer Success, including designing and implementing system infrastructure - Investigate and resolve user issues related to the tech stack - Define use cases for each tool and train users to standardize usage - Manage sales commission reconciliation and payment process - Work with sales leaders to define and manage sales territories - Have experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations, or a background in operations, finance, or data analytics - Have experience working with SalesTech systems such as Salesforce, Gong, and ChurnZero - Have experience managing data and developing analytics to improve sales, profitability, and marketing ROI - Have a knack for program management and helping teams move from reactive to proactive functioning - Be nimble and quick in executing tasks with urgency and energy - Have a passion for improving functionality and efficiency.

Requirements

- Experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations, or a background in operations, finance, or data analytics - Experience working with SalesTech systems such as Salesforce, Gong, and ChurnZero - Experience managing data and developing analytics to provide insights and make recommendations to improve sales, profitability, and marketing ROI - Ability to define and implement reporting needs to track performance, surface issues, and identify trends - Knowledge of deal management process and ability to document and train sales resources on the process - Familiarity with managing sales commission reconciliation and payment process - Proficiency in managing sales territories and ensuring tools are up-to-date with territory assignment changes - Strong program management skills or interest in learning - Nimble and quick execution with urgency and energy - Passion for improving operational infrastructure and making things function better, faster, and stronger.
