Senior Systems and Network Engineer

As the Senior Network and Systems Engineer at Overtime, you will be responsible for providing systems and network support, deployment, and optimization. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, you will lead the design and improvement of the entire infrastructure, with potential travel to the NYC headquarters and other locations as needed. Your role will involve collaborating with the Senior Director of Operations and Technology to ensure seamless integration of new applications, managing server infrastructure for performance and security, and maintaining relationships with vendors. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to pitch and implement new ideas to improve IT operations and internal communication.

• Provide systems and network support, deployment, and optimization
• Lead the design and improvement of the entire infrastructure
• Potentially travel to NYC headquarters and other locations as needed
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Operations and Technology
• Assist with day-to-day network and systems support
• Test and deploy new systems/tools
• Improve the coast to coast infrastructure
• Collaborate with tech, production, and operations teams for seamless integration of new applications
• Manage and optimize local and cloud-based server infrastructure
• Manage relationships with vendors and plan for upsizing and needs as the organization grows
• Manage a wide range of projects and tasks as needed
• Pitch new ideas for improving IT operations and internal communication
• Make new ideas a reality

• 5 or more years of experience in network and systems support
• Strong knowledge of networking switch, routing, and systems performance monitoring
• Experience in tuning and capacity planning across physical locations
• Ability to collaborate with tech, production, and operations teams for seamless integration of new applications
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing both local and cloud-based server infrastructure
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and planning for upsizing and needs as the organization grows
• Flexibility and creativity in managing a wide range of projects
• Ability to pitch and implement new ideas related to improving IT operations and internal communication

• 10% of job includes pitching new ideas and making them a reality

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and Cisco products preferred
